The digital handover platform we built inside Kinherit is now a company in its own right - and remains built into every Kinherit plan.

Some news about how we are organised. Kinvault - the secure digital handover platform we have built and refined over the past six years inside Kinherit - is now a separate company, Kinvault Ltd, with largely the same shareholders.

Why

The Kinvault began as our answer to a problem every estate planner sees: information loss on death. Assets that executors never find, instructions that never reach the right people, families left guessing. As the platform matured, its potential grew beyond estate planning - and the recognition it has received from partners and programmes across financial services confirmed the opportunity deserved a dedicated business.

What changes for Kinherit clients

Nothing. Every Kinherit plan includes the digital handover through Kinvault, our sister company - it is built into the plan, not a separate product. Your information, your handover arrangements and our service to your family are unchanged.

What it means for the future

Kinherit continues as the specialist estate planning business - STEP-qualified planning, Wills, trusts and the managed handover. Kinvault Ltd takes the platform forward with the focus a product business needs. Two companies, one standard of care.

Key takeaways

  • Kinvault Ltd is now a separate company, spun out of Kinherit in March 2025
  • Every Kinherit plan still includes the Kinvault digital handover
  • Kinherit remains the specialist estate planning business
